Smith Cast Iron Boilers are known throughout North America for their rugged reliability, operating efficiencies and longevity. Products range from small residential boilers to the largest cast iron commercial boilers available in North America. Typical applications range from homes and apartments up to very large institutional buildings such as schools, universities and government buildings. Smith maintains extensive research, development and testing facilities.

Here is a look at some of their most popular products:

8 Series Hot Water or Steam Oil-Fired Boiler: A recipient of the Consumers Digest Best Buy Award, the 8 series has been designated as a great value. The 8 series boiler is available in eight sizes with efficiencies up to 86 percent AFUE. The 8 Series offers commercial quality in a residential boiler. Due to the larger water content and increased surface area in the boiler, corrosion and mineral build-up is minimized while the heat transfer is maximized, improving longevity and increasing efficiency.

DV-8 Series Direct Vent Boiler: The Smith DV-8 Series is designed for homes that have efficient, tight construction. It features easy-to-install concentric sidewall venting with 15 feet of double wall insulated stainless steel flexible vent pipe where a conventional chimney is not needed. The DV-8 is also ideally suited for the retrofit of older homes where the chimney is unusable or homes being converted from electric resistant type heating.
